Throughout this course, students learn about contemporary pre-press techniques, print methods, distribution and formatting. The emphasis on production techniques allows students to gain a greater understanding about how print technology can inform and even contribute to their design. Topics such as colour systems for print, image capture, print resolution, proofing methods, offset and digital printing techniques are highlighted and discussed.
