Industry Partnership for Sustainability and Education

Emily Carr University is in its second year of a partnership with Powertech Labs Inc., a clean energy consulting company. This partnership has supported two core studios in design exploring alternative energy, and has funded 4 collaborative student internships between Powertech and Emily Carr. Recent graduate, James Hallam, was also hired at Powertech to help enhance their capacity to design installations of electric vehicle charging stations. You can see one of their projects on Granville Island at Edibles BC.
