Emily Carr University is in its second year of a partnership with Powertech Labs Inc., a clean energy consulting company. This partnership has supported two core studios in design exploring alternative energy, and has funded 4 collaborative student internships between Powertech and Emily Carr. Recent graduate, James Hallam, was also hired at Powertech to help enhance their capacity to design installations of electric vehicle charging stations.
