Below are the videos submitted as part of the Design 200 Core Challenge 3, the final project of the term, and a group project, it drew on the previous two learning outcomes for inspiration.

In this DESN 200 Design Challenge 3, Frogtongue Design (Bree Galbraith, Peter Fung, Ashley Ferreira and Solveig Johannessen) developed an integrated system for teaching young people about making contributions to their community by using cogs as a metaphor for collecting, organizing and grouping volunteer activities and events in the social service sector.

DESN 200 Design Challenge 3, from the design team Mobius (Jared Korb, Lindsey Kenler and Heather Tsang) comes “In Season” a how to kit for urbanites to teach themselves and their families about the benefits of keeping a vegetable garden, even on an apartment balcony. “In season” illustrates the difference between processed food and growing and cooking with your own. The kit comes with seeds and cards that illustrate the planting and growing cycle for each vegetable and/or fruit that is possible to grow in Vancouver’s climate.
